Learning Facilitator Talent Development
Nathalie-Michèle Sylvain,
MSc, CHRP
After working in corporate communications for Canadian companies with international activities, Nathalie-Michèle redirected her career towards Human Resources. Having spent her formative years abroad, she was eager to accept an international assignment for a Canadian telecom company setting up a regional office in the Middle East. She later joined an American agency in Saudi Arabia, an oil company and a monthly publication in Egypt. During those assignments, she focused on narrowing the gap between corporate culture and the different local cultures by raising awareness to the impact of cultures on expectations at work; by encouraging more efficient intercultural communication and by proposing alternative ways to manage people and conduct business.
Now, Nathalie-Michèle assists companies to take advantage of their international reality by offering intercultural management training and support, cultural adjustment assessments and global mobility consulting. From major multinational corporations to local medium-size businesses, executives, business development teams, project managers, organizational development teams, as well as managers on international assignment and employees interacting with international partners; all benefit from her expertise.
Nathalie-Michèle holds an MSc in Organisational Behavior from University of London. Very much aware of the challenges and wealth cultural differences bring to the workplace, the perspective she brings combines experience and knowledge.
In addition to her work as a consultant and trainer, Nathalie-Michèle teaches Cross-Cultural Management as well as Organizational Behavior, Talent and Performance Management and Change Management at McGill University.
Some of Nathalie-Michèle's high profile clients include:
-

-
